With today's technological developments and innovation in surgical operations, integrations for surgical applications, especially artificial intelligence, attract a lot of attention. In addition, as in many countries around the world, innovative applications in this field in Türkiye have made a difference in many surgical interventions and brought a different perspective and privilege to the field of medicine. The use of innovative technologies and artificial intelligence in the surgical field has a significant impact on patient safety and operation results. This situation enables and enables patient comfort, risk, rapid recovery and most importantly, minimizing or completely eliminating the risk of error in operations. The use of innovative technologies in surgical operations allows the development of minimally invasive surgical techniques. Robotic surgical systems allow surgeons to move more precisely, making operations less invasive and shortening the recovery period of patients. Another advantage is advances in imaging technologies. It offers surgeons better imaging and navigation during the operation. Thus, these applications help to perform surgical procedures more precisely and safely. Artificial intelligence (AI), which is now widely used in surgical operations, maximizes success rates in surgical operations. Artificial intelligence algorithms support surgeons in surgical planning and navigation processes. Artificial intelligence, which is used in areas such as analysis of imaging data and pattern identification in surgical operations, contributes to creating different perspectives for surgeons to make more accurate diagnoses and better optimize treatment plans. The importance of innovative technologies and artificial intelligence in surgical operations enables safer and more effective surgical procedures to be performed, providing patients with a safer operation process with a different advantage. These advantages contribute to reducing complications, accelerating recovery processes and improving patients' postoperative outcomes. From another perspective, it increases the skill level of surgeons, while reducing the costs of surgical operations and the length of hospitalization. Today, with the use of these technologies, the training, experience and ethical practices of surgeons have also become important from a different perspective. It is noteworthy that there are many international studies on this subject in the literature. However, the applications of innovative technologies and artificial intelligence in the surgical field have to be continuously developed and reveal the necessity of continuous control and evaluation. In this way, the potential benefits of technology in surgical operations will be used in the best way and the health outcomes of patients will be optimized.
