SEDENTARY WORKING LIFE AND SPORTIVE ACTIVITIES: EVALUATION OF THE EFFECTS ON HEALTHY LIFE IN TERMS OF DIFFERENT FACTORS
 
Increasing inactivity, a slow lifestyle, more intense desk-based work life are among the most important problems for individuals and communities to lead a sedentary life. Regarding the effects of sedentary working life and sportive activities on healthy life; we see that it has become an important issue and problem of modern life. Today, many people work sedentary for long periods of time in desk jobs. This situation leads to health problems over time and many of these problems can be eliminated by surgical operations. At the same time, the negative effects on health due to irregular lifestyle, sedentary and insufficient physical activity are also revealed over time. This leads to the emergence of different problems and deterioration of the comfort of life in the future life process of individuals. The negative effects of sedentary working life on health include obesity, cardiovascular diseases, back and neck pain, "hernia problems", musculoskeletal disorders, metabolic syndrome, stress and mental health problems. These are among the most well-known health problems caused by a sedentary lifestyle. Staying in a sitting position for long periods of time negatively affects the body's balance and posture. With this immobility problem, negativities such as weakening of the muscles and decreased flexibility come to life. On the other hand, regular sportive activities have many positive effects on healthy life. Exercise increases and strengthens heart health. It improves blood circulation and helps with weight control. It strengthens bone health, improves and regulates mood by activating the immune system. Regular exercise reduces stress, increases energy levels and improves overall quality of life. In this context, regular physical activity is essential to combat sedentary working life and lead a healthy life. For office workers, taking short breaks at regular intervals, doing exercises at the desk and moving around during the day can reduce the effects of inactivity. Likewise, playing sports regularly several times a week contributes to maintaining a healthy life while revitalizing the body and mind. In conclusion, it is clearly known that sedentary working life and irregular physical activities have negative effects on health. When the findings and results of many scientific studies on this subject are evaluated; it has been revealed that sedentary life causes the onset or further increase of many health problems. For this reason, it is very important to exercise regularly and adopt an active lifestyle along with work life in order to maintain and improve a healthy life.
